Golf Course Greenskeeper

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds and facilities, ensuring a clean and well-manicured environment for our staff and visitors. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties:

- Maintain the grounds and facilities by performing lawn care, including mowing, edging, and trimming as needed.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to ensure all landscaping tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Water and irrigate plants and lawns to ensure optimal growth and health.
- Perform landscape maintenance, including pruning, weeding, and mulching as needed.
- Monitor and address any issues related to the grounds, including but not limited to, debris, pests, and weather-related damage.
- Keep all tools and equipment in good working condition and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
- Ensure that all areas are clean and free of debris, including walkways, parking lots, and public spaces.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standard.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including tools and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of lawn care and landscaping techniques.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
- Experience with irrigation systems is a plus.
- Experience with garden maintenance is a plus.
