Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
Looking for a self motivated individual who takes pride in their work to help maintain a small 9 hole golf course. Mechanical knowledge is a major plus. You will be responsible for ensuring the course remains lush, healthy, and visually stunning by performing landscape maintenance, turf care, and equipment operation. Your dedication will help deliver an exceptional experience for golfers while fostering a beautiful outdoor space that promotes relaxation and enjoyment.

Duties

• Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course by performing lawn care, landscaping, and gardening tasks using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to keep the turf vibrant.
• Use maintenance equipment to repair or replace damaged turf areas, pathways, or course features.
• Collaborate with team members to implement landscaping projects that enhance course aesthetics and functionality.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or turf management is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and lawn care techniques to maintain healthy turfgrass.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills related to landscaping and course maintenance.
• Basic understanding of land management practices such as irrigation troubleshooting and landscape upkeep is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting is a major plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
