Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker 1 and play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, applying your skills in gardening, lawn care, and landscaping to support the overall aesthetic and functionality of the course. Responsibilities

• Assist with irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal watering schedules
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing greens, fairways, and roughs
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to carry out routine maintenance and repairs on course equipment and facilities
• Support lawn care activities including aeration, overseeding, and pest control to promote healthy turf growth
• Maintain flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other landscaping features to enhance the course’s visual appeal
• Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair
• Assist with gardening tasks like planting new vegetation or replacing damaged plants to keep the course vibrant and inviting

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes effectively and safely
• Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping and maintenance tasks is a plus
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems and troubleshooting techniques is desirable
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest management is advantageous
