Position Purpose:

To assist and/or work independently of the Head Equipment Manager (HEM) in the repairing and maintenance of various 2-cycle, gasoline, and diesel-powered golf course mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities Overview:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Diagnose and preform repairs to all golf course equipment as needed in a timely manner as directed by the HEM and or the GCS.
• Perform routine scheduled maintenance as directed.
• Ability to set up and maintain cutting units.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical related issues quickly & effectively.
• Maintain detailed service records to include all repairs, service, time, and associated parts for all golf course equipment.
• Performs general labor and cleaning related to golf course equipment.
• Dispose of oils and other fluids per operating standards.
• Ability to multitask is a must.
• Ability & Willingness to perform other tasks directed.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma.
• Working knowledge of the general operation of gasoline, diesel and electric powered equipment and the proper methods of servicing golf course equipment.
• Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the profession.

Experience Requirements:

1-3 Years (Prior Golf Course mechanical experience preferred)

• Successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Candidate must possess his/her own tools.
• Must possess a valid Drivers License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
