Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on golf course machinery such as mowers, aerators, and utility vehicles using hand tools and power tools.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues utilizing schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes efficiently.
• Conduct diesel engine repairs and maintain engine components to ensure peak performance.
• Repair electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, and generators, applying electrical experience and soldering skills as needed.
• Utilize heavy lifting techniques safely when handling large equipment parts or machinery components.
• Maintain detailed service records, update maintenance logs, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks regularly.
• Collaborate with the groundskeeping team to minimize downtime and ensure equipment readiness for daily operations.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background in automotive or equipment repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience with welding, soldering, and heavy lifting to facilitate complex repairs.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery brands is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
• Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment efficiently for vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
