Position Overview
The
Golf Operations Supervisor
supports the daily operations of the golf facility by ensuring smooth workflows, high service standards, and seamless on-course experiences for members and guests. The role focuses on team supervision, guest interaction, equipment readiness, and operational coordination across all touchpoints of the golf journey.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Time Management

Assist in preparing and managing daily duty rosters and shift schedules.

Monitor the tee sheet and ensure all guest touchpoint areas (bag drop, starter, driving range, on-course, and closing) are adequately staffed and operational.

Support daily operational planning to ensure smooth service flow throughout operating hours.
Customer Service Excellence

Welcome members and guests in a friendly, professional manner while maintaining positive body language and a warm service approach.

Resolve guest inquiries, complaints, or operational issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

Ensure consistent service standards are followed across all operational touchpoints.
Staff Supervision & Leadership

Supervise and guide team members across various stations (bag drop, range, starter, marshals).

Conduct or support shift-start briefings and provide on-the-job coaching and feedback to team members.

Monitor staff performance and motivate the team to maintain high service levels.
Equipment & Inventory Management

Ensure golf carts, radios, range balls, towels, scorecards, tees, and operational consumables are fully stocked and maintained.

Check that all equipment is clean, charged, well-presented, and in proper working order.

Report equipment issues or shortages and coordinate for timely replacements or repairs.
On-Course & Event Support

Coordinate with course marshals regarding on-course requirements, play flow, and guest needs.

Support golf leagues, tournaments, and corporate events including signage setup, draw sheet distribution, player coordination, and event logistics.

Act as a key liaison between golf operations, events team, and management during tournaments and special occasions.
Communication & Coordination

Ensure smooth communication between reception, golf operations, F&B, and events teams.

Support and conduct daily morning and afternoon operational briefings to align teams on objectives, updates, and service targets.

Maintain accurate communication logs and shift reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Minimum
2 years of experience
in golf operations or hospitality supervision.
-
(Caddies with
2–3 years of relevant experience
are encouraged to apply.)

Strong knowledge of golf operations, golf-fleet equipment, and tee-sheet systems.

Proven leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
-
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple operational activities simultaneously.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
