Duties

• Maintain the golf range grounds by mowing, trimming, and edging turf areas using hand tools and power tools to ensure a smooth and attractive playing surface.
• Maintain irrigation systems to keep the landscape healthy and vibrant, adjusting schedules as needed for optimal watering.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
• Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing repair or attention, including damaged turf or landscaping features.
• Use gardening and horticulture techniques to enhance the appearance of flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other landscape elements around the range.
• Operate various landscaping equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks around the golf range including cleaning equipment, repairing hand tools, and supporting other groundskeeping activities as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and their operation is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques such as planting, pruning, edging, and weed management.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to groundskeeping maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
