Goods Inwards Manager

Manage receiving operations: Oversee the entire process of receiving goods, including signing for deliveries and ensuring the accurate preparation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs). Staff and team management: Supervise, train, and schedule a team of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and performance meet objectives. Quality assurance: Inspect incoming goods to verify they match order specifications and meet quality standards. This can involve checking for defects and coordinating with quality control personnel. Inventory control: Maintain accurate stock records, manage inventory systems, and perform stock audits to reconcile discrepancies. Logistics coordination: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth and timely deliveries. Compliance and safety: Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation.
