We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Implementation Consultant specializing in Google Analytics 4 to lead enterprise-level digital analytics implementations across web and mobile platforms. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, validating, and optimizing analytics solutions using modern tagging frameworks, data layers, and reporting technologies.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical implementation expertise with strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills. This individual will work closely with product teams, developers, marketing stakeholders, and analytics leadership to ensure accurate, scalable, and actionable measurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end GA4 implementation projects including discovery, solution design, deployment, QA, and post-launch validation.
  • Design and implement scalable tracking architectures using Google Tag Manager for websites, mobile applications, and Single Page Applications (SPAs).
  • Configure GA4 properties, events, parameters, conversions, audiences, custom dimensions, and enhanced ecommerce tracking.
  • Develop and maintain robust data layer specifications and governance standards.
  • Implement client-side and server-side tagging solutions including GTM Server-Side tagging.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement tracking requirements using JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and DOM-based event handling techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and debug analytics implementations using browser developer tools, network monitoring, Tag Assistant, and GA4 DebugView.
  • Build and validate ecommerce tracking including product impressions, add-to-cart, checkout, purchase, refund, and promotion events.
  • Implement cross-domain tracking, user identification strategies, and attribution methodologies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical analytics solutions.
  • Create implementation documentation including tagging plans, QA documentation, technical specifications, and tracking governance processes.
  • Integrate analytics solutions with advertising, CRM, CDP, and marketing platforms.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Looker Studio and other BI tools.
  • Support advanced analytics initiatives leveraging BigQuery and GA4 Explore.
  • Ensure analytics implementations comply with privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and consent management standards.
  • Manage multiple analytics projects simultaneously in Agile or fast-paced delivery environments.
  • Stay current with evolving digital analytics technologies, browser privacy changes, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline or equivalent working experience.
  • Expert in tag management (Primarily GTM OR equivalent experience with Tealium, Enlighten, OR Adobe Tags)
  • Experience with GTM Server-Side tagging is highly desirable
  • Expert in Digital Analytics implementation techniques using JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), DOM manipulation, and knowledge of HTML/CSS markup.
  • Strong JavaScript skills and understanding of front-end development concepts such as CSS, HTML, and loading sequence of page components.
  • Expert of debugging JavaScript calls using browser developer tools and/or extensions.
  • Familiarity with Single Page Application (SPA) tracking implementations using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Expert in designing and working with data layers.
  • Experience troubleshooting data discrepancies, duplicate tracking, and attribution issues across analytics platforms.
  • Experience with GA4.
  • Experience with Looker Studio, Big Query, GA4 Explore highly desired.
  • Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with both IT and Business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and delivering Analytics projects.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple analytics implementations and prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and consent management frameworks.
  • Adobe Analytics experience would be a plus

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
