About the Role:
We are hiring a Governance Officer to provide professional secretariat support to our boards and committees in Jazan. You will ensure smooth meeting execution, accurate documentation, and effective follow-up to uphold strong organizational governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end logistics for board and committee meetings (scheduling, setup, invitations).
- Prepare and distribute agendas, meeting packs, and presentations.
- Attend meetings, take precise minutes, and record actions/decisions.
- Maintain official records, archives, and document libraries.
- Track and report on action items and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with governance policies and procedures.
- Prepare meeting summaries and reports for leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a board/committee secretariat or corporate governance role.
- Exceptional minute-taking and report-writing skills.
- Highly organized with strong document management ability.
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Professional communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Detail-oriented, discreet, and able to manage tight deadlines.
- Certification in corporate governance (e.g., CAP) is preferred.
