Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager

we are in need for GRC Manager to work in a big frame construction company responsible for ensuring that governance, risk management, and compliance practices are integrated into all project phases. This role aims to protect the company's assets, reputation, and operational integrity while adhering to industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Governance Develop and implement governance frameworks specific to construction projects.-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Facilitate governance meetings and document outcomes related to project oversight.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and monitor risks associated with construction projects, including safety, financial, and operational risks.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to construction activities.

Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain a risk register.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to construction industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental laws.

Conduct compliance audits on construction sites and project documentation.

Provide training and resources to project teams on compliance and safety standards.

Policy

Development: Create, review, and update policies related to governance, risk, and compliance in construction operations.

Collaborate with project managers and legal teams to align policies with contractual obligations.

Reporting: Generate reports on governance, risk, and compliance metrics specific to construction projects. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications;

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CMRP, CRISC, or similar) are preferred.

Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and risk management practices.

Skills:

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in risk management software and project management tools.Experience;8-10 years of experience in governance, risk management, or compliance within the construction industry.

Experience in conducting audits or safety assessments on construction sites is a plus.

Work Environment;

This position may involve both office-based work and site visits
