GP Aesthetics Doctor – Job Responsibilities1. Clinical Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to assess aesthetic concerns, medical history, and suitability for treatments.
  • Diagnose and manage skin and cosmetic conditions within the scope of aesthetic medicine.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patients’ goals, safety, and evidence-based practice.
  • Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures, such as:
  • Botulinum toxin (Botox/Dysport) injections
  • Dermal fillers
  • Skin boosters, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), and mesotherapy
  • Laser and energy-based treatments (e.g., IPL, RF, HIFU)
  • Chemical peels and microneedling
  • Ensure safe and effective administration of treatments, maintaining high clinical standards and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor and follow up on treatment outcomes, managing complications promptly and effectively.

2. Patient Care & Communication

  • Provide ethical, patient-centered care, ensuring informed consent and realistic expectations.
  • Offer clear pre- and post-treatment advice and support.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all patient interactions.
  • Manage patient feedback and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.

3. Professional Development & Compliance

  • Keep up to date with aesthetic medicine advancements, techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and relevant training or certification programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local medical council regulations and clinic protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patient interactions and treatments.

4. Clinic Operations & Collaboration

  • Support the clinic in building and maintaining client relationships and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, therapists, and administrative staff.
  • Contribute to marketing activities, such as educational content, patient seminars, or social media engagement, when appropriate.
  • Assist in inventory management and ensuring proper storage and use of aesthetic products.

5. Health & Safety

  • Adhere to infection control and waste disposal protocols.
  • Report and manage any adverse events or treatment complications according to clinic policy.
  • Ensure compliance with health authority and clinic safety standards.
