Position Overview

The GP – Gynaecologist will deliver premium, patient-centred medical care in a luxury hospital setting, focusing on general medical practice and women’s health. The role supports routine GP consultations, gynaecological assessments, preventive care, and coordinated support within the OBGYN department while ensuring a high-end patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

General Practice Responsibilities

· Conduct full medical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for general health conditions.

· Provide long-term primary care and preventive health services to female patients.

· Manage chronic diseases, wellness programs, and regular health screenings.

· Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in accordance with hospital standards.

Gynaecology Responsibilities

· Perform routine gynaecological examinations (Pap smear, breast exam, pelvic exam, fertility counselling).

· Diagnose and manage common gynaecological issues (PCOS, infections, menstrual disorders, menopausal concerns).

· Educate patients on contraception, reproductive health, and antenatal/postnatal care.

· Assist OBGYN Specialists/Consultants in clinical procedures when needed.

· Provide antenatal follow-up, counselling, and continuity of care.

Qualifications & Requirements

· MBBS / MD or equivalent degree from a recognized medical institution.

· Minimum 10 years of experience as a General Practitioner.

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Gynaecology.

· Arabic Language Proficiency: Mandatory (speaking and understanding for patient consultations).

· Valid QCHP / DHP license or eligibility for licensing in Qatar.

· Experience in premium or luxury healthcare settings is preferred.

· Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient empathy.

Key Skills

· Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities.

· Strong communication and patient counselling skills in both Arabic and English.

· Knowledge of international women’s health protocols and best practices.

· Ability to work in a multicultural, high-end clinical environment.

Working Conditions
