Grade 1 Scientist

Full Time Position for Parental Leave Cover (40 hours / week with ADO)

About the Role

The Respiratory Scientist (Grade 1) will be responsible for providing technical expertise and commitment to quality patient care, while demonstrating high standards of laboratory measurement and patient care.

• Perform routine and some more complex respiratory function testing
• Be involved in the conduct of an effective quality assurance program
• Participate in training, education and professional development programs for staff

Classifications for this position will range from RX1 - RX7 ($63,674 - $91,785 per annum pro rata)

Your Contribution

• Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts (Psychology major) or Bachelor of Nursing is essential
• Previous experience in a customer/patient focused environment is desirable
• Previous experience with Lung Function Tests is desirable
• Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain

The Respiratory Lab operates a clinical service providing extensive inpatient and outpatient care, and is responsible for providing high quality clinical service.
