Grade 2 home room teacher

We are looking for a passionate, caring, and qualified Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher to join our school team. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to creating a positive learning environment, supporting students’ academic growth, and helping children develop strong moral values and social skills.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons according to the Grade 2 curriculum

Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and General Knowledge

Use creative teaching methods and interactive activities to improve student learning

Assess and evaluate students’ academic progress regularly

Prepare worksheets, assignments, and classroom activities

Classroom Management

Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment

Manage student behavior with patience, discipline, and encouragement

Promote confidence, teamwork, and respect among students

Student Development

Support students’ emotional, social, and personal development

Identify learning difficulties and provide extra guidance when needed

Encourage participation in co-curricular and school activities

Communication

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress

Attend parent-teacher meetings and school events

Work collaboratively with school management and fellow teachers

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field

Prior teaching experience in primary grades preferred

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Good command of English (spoken and written)

Passion for teaching young learners

Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude

Preferred Qualities

Knowledge of child-centered teaching methods

Ability to create activity-based learning experiences

Strong teamwork and leadership skills
