Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh is currently recruiting for a 3rd grade teacher for our General Studies Program.

Job Duties

Elementary education teachers are responsible for delivering core instruction in Reading, Math, Social Studies, and/or Science. Teachers are responsible for:

  • Creating a safe and welcoming learning environment
  • Planning and submitting lesson plans weekly
  • Delivering high quality lessons
  • Assessing students and using data to plan interventions
  • Differentiating based on student needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues
  • Participating in trainings
  • Acting in a professional manner
  • Meeting mandates in staff handbook including attendance and dress code
  • Communicating with parents on a regular basis
  • Participating in weekly meetings with principal
  • Completing other duties as assigned
