Job Description

Desert Man Transporting & Contracting is looking for an experienced Grade Checker to join our infrastructure and roadworks team in Abu Dhabi.

The candidate will support survey and site engineering teams by checking levels, coordinates, and elevations for ongoing infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, utilities, and earthworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Check site levels, grades, and alignments according to approved drawings
• Assist surveyors during setting out and leveling activities
• Verify excavation and backfilling levels
• Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams
• Ensure road works and utility works meet project specifications
• Maintain accurate field records and measurements
• Support as-built survey activities when required
• Follow HSE and site safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as Grade Checker or Survey Assistant
• Experience in roads, infrastructure, or earthworks projects
• Ability to read construction and survey drawings
• Familiarity with levels, coordinates, and site measurements
• Knowledge of Auto Level / Total Station assistance
• UAE/GCC experience preferred
• Immediate joiners preferred
