Grades 5 & 6 Science Teacher

Position Summary

The Grade 5–6 Science Teacher will design and deliver a dynamic and engaging science curriculum for students in Grades 5 and 6. This role requires creating a learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for scientific inquiry.

The teacher will develop a flexible educational program and classroom environment that supports learning and personal growth, build effective relationships with students, motivate them to develop essential skills and knowledge, and maintain strong partnerships with families and colleagues.

Students will explore topics in earth science, life science, physical science, and the relationship between science, technology, and society.

Key Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)

Experience: Minimum of 5 years teaching science with elementary or middle school students

Compensation and Benefits
