GRADING FOREMAN

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for the position of grading foreman. This role is essential in managing a grading crew for both mass grading and roadway grading. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mass grading, fine grading and finishing ABC and will be proficient in utilizing various construction management software tools.

Duties

• Managing a 4-10 man crew.
• Proficient in reading and understanding construction plans, reading and understanding engineers soil reports. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA safety standards and quality control measures.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate construction schedules.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and any potential issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting.
• Proven experience with GPS 3D models, grade control with Trimble and Topcon software.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites.
• Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and contracts is essential.
• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control processes.
