Grading & Paving Laborer

Overview

The Grading & Paving Laborer’s duties are continually changing depending on the requirements of each project. Laborers are expected to assist in the general operation of each job site. They will perform general construction site labor, operate compactors of various sizes, and basic safe operation of skid steers.

General Duties and Responsibilities

- Load and unload worksite tools

- Clean up jobsite

- Clean work tools

- Organize job trailers and warehouse

- Running for supervisors

- Skilled laborers will demonstrate more proficient use of tools and a fundamental grasp of construction techniques and processes

Requirements

- Knowledge of how to properly use a shovel, rake, wheelbarrow, sledgehammer, pick, and basic carpentry tools

- Ability to lift and/or push loads of 80-100 lbs.

- Ability to walk up slopes/stairs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
