Graduate Counseling Intern

Transit Health LLC. is an insurance-based outpatient mental health clinic that provides counseling and psychological services to individuals, couples and families.

This training is open to psychology and counseling graduate students. The internship provides training in evidence-based psychotherapy and specializes in treating mental health disorders. Trainees will see up to 8 -10 clients weekly and will receive individual supervision and one hour of group supervision. Supervision is provided by board-approved licensed Clinicians. Training will also include clinical case conferences, seminars, and professional development groups. Clients will include children, adolescents, and adults. Trainees work 16 -20 hours per week and must be available one evening. Trainees will be paid a stipend during the course of their training.

Interns who successfully complete their internship and pass related licensing exams are routinely offer post-internship employment when positions are available.

Qualification:

• Must be enrolled in a graduate school program.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Must be willing to work until 7pm at least two (2) nights per week.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
