About the role: The Graduate Engineer Trainee will join our Service Department (Hotel & Hospitality Engineering Division) and follow a structured, on-the-job development path. Trainees will spend significant time in the field alongside experienced engineers and technicians, gaining practical, hands-on knowledge of equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair. Over time, trainees are expected to grow into subject-matter experts in one or more of our core areas: commercial laundry, commercial kitchen, and industrial boiler systems. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate who is genuinely willing to work in the field, get hands-on, and invest in building long-term technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Work in the field alongside senior engineers and technicians to learn installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of laundry, kitchen, and industrial boiler equipment.

- Assist in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-system faults and in carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance.

- Study equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to build product and system knowledge.

- Support planned maintenance (PPM) and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) activities under supervision.

- Prepare and maintain service reports, job cards, and documentation accurately.

- Gradually take on increasing technical responsibility as competence develops.

- Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures on every site.

- Represent Wotek professionally in front of clients.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

- Fresh graduates are welcome; 0–2 years of experience. No prior industry experience required.

- Genuine willingness to work in the field and perform hands-on technical work — this is not an office-only role.

- Strong desire to learn and develop into a specialist in laundry, kitchen, and/or industrial boiler equipment.

- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles; ability to read technical drawings is an advantage.

- Good communication skills in English; Arabic and/or Hindi is an advantage.
