Graduate - Environmental Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn about Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESHIA) Studies, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models as per specific discipline requirements.
  • Assist in drafting and finalizing environmental reports under the supervision of experienced Engineers/Scientists.
  • Apply design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs within project timelines.
  • Perform work under supervision to meet agreed upon budget and schedule.
  • Collect and analyze information from discipline specific and interdisciplinary project datasets.
  • Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering and environmental problems.
  • Coordinate with other discipline Engineers/Scientists to maintain continuity in the environmental study process.
  • Participate in study evaluation progress and coordination meetings.
  • Ensure the quality of models, surveys, and study teams meet accuracy requirements for reporting.
  • Actively seek information, opportunities to participate, and contribute to project efficiencies.
  • Solve problems and apply theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in one of the following fields from an accredited University
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Environmental Science/Studies
    • Marine Engineering
    • Sustainable Energy and Technology
    • Geography and Environmental Science
    • Ecology and Conservation
    • Architecture and Environmental Design
    • Sustainable Urban Environments
  • Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no earlier than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
  • If you hold a Master's Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor's Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
  • Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional level roles instead.
