Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Researching, identifying, evaluating, and liaising with potential suppliers for best quality, price, and delivery.
- Procurement & Ordering: Processing purchase requisitions/orders, sending them to suppliers, and managing day-to-day supplier interactions.
- Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels, placing timely orders, and managing material flow to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of purchases, invoices, delivery details, and preparing basic cost/purchase reports.
- Coordination: Working with internal teams (production, finance) to understand needs and resolve issues like damaged or missing goods.
- Market Awareness: Staying updated on market trends, new products, and procurement best practices.
