Duties

• Measure, cut, and fabricate granite countertops accurately using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to ensure precise fitment.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and coordinate installation processes seamlessly.
• Operate heavy equipment safely when required for material handling or site preparation.
• Install countertops with attention to detail, including caulking, trimming, fixture installation, and finishing touches such as sealing and polishing.
• Conduct site inspections to verify proper measurements, alignment, and adherence to safety protocols throughout each phase of installation.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate schedules, materials delivery, and project timelines for efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring all safety standards are followed during every task.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on countertop or cabinetry installation preferred.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to fabrication and installation processes.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
• Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry (including concrete finishing), plumbing, electrical work, roofing, plastering, stucco application, welding, flooring installation (including tile laying), and restoration is highly advantageous.
• Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety protocols and inspection procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings related to glass installation, fixture mounting, door hanging, framing carpentry, or other detailed schematics relevant to countertop projects.
