Granite Fabricator

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Granite Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw granite materials into beautiful, high-quality countertops and surfaces that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in fabrication, use of hand and power tools, and understanding of materials handling will be essential to delivering exceptional products. Duties

• Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, grinders, polishers, and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to cut, shape, and finish granite slabs.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise cutting, drilling, polishing, and assembly of granite components.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport granite slabs within the warehouse or manufacturing area.
• Measure and mark materials accurately according to project specifications, ensuring quality control at every stage.
• Perform welding or mechanical assembly tasks when required for custom installations or support structures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to safety protocols and proper materials handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion while upholding high standards of craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining processes.
• Knowledge of materials handling procedures including forklift operation and heavy equipment use.
• Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints for accurate fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
