To oversee Grants and Incentives activities, to ensure on the delivery of EF's mandates and identify improvement opportunities that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the Strategy and Partnerships Division's strategy and roadmap by providing function-specific inputs.
  • Establish and implement the Grants and Incentives Department's operational plans in support of the sub-division's overall strategic plan and KPIs.
  • Prepare the Grants and Incentives Department annual budget and participate in the Department's budgeting cycle and process.
  • Utilize and manage Grants and Incentives Department's budget effectively, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.
  • Propose improvements to Grants and Incentives Department's policies and ensure the implementation of procedures and controls across all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results in collaboration with organizational excellence team.
  • Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes considering leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of grants and incentives programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these programs, creating adjustments to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with relevant entities to ensure alignment of these initiatives with the national environmental strategy.
  • Provide assistance across the Fund and support peers when needed to perform their duties.
  • Approve reports and presentations related to Grants and Incentives activities and achievements for reporting and decision-making.
  • Perform other activities as and when required.
  • Manage, guide, and assist direct reports to perform their required responsibilities successfully.
  • Participate in identifying and recruiting key talent for Grants and Incentives Department.
  • Promote a high-performance working environment embracing EF's values.
  • Staying up to date on relevant laws, regulations and best practices related to grants and Incentives, making recommendations for process improvements and policy changes.
  • Foster relationships and partnerships with other government and private entities to leverage resources and enhance the effectiveness of grants and incentive programs.
  • Execute the products of the grants and incentive programs and activate EF partnerships.
  • Oversee the evaluations of the products developed through the grants and incentive programs.
Job Requirements
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent is required. A master's degree in Business or equivalent is preferred.
  • Years of experience: at least 12 years of experience in Grants and Incentives or any relevant experience, with at least 6 years in a managerial position.
  • Skills: Information Systems Knowledge, Data Analysis and Reporting, Deal Structuring, Opportunity Identification and Development, Privatization Strategy Review and Execution, Corporate Performance Management, Employee Empowerment.
