Position Overview:

The museum can schedule the intern’s hours to coordinate around classes or any outside employment commitment the intern might have. This internship is primarily in-person at the Eiteljorg Museum, although some work may be done remotely with supervisor approval. In assisting in promotion of museum exhibits and events, the intern is expected to maintain confidentiality about not-yet-announced information that is still proprietary. While the Eiteljorg Museum cannot guarantee an intern will receive college credit for the internship, the Marketing and Communications staff will provide documentation necessary to the intern’s faculty advisor for the intern to receive academic credit for their work, time and effort.

During the summer 2026 marketing internship, it is necessary for the intern to work certain evening and weekend events, including the Eiteljorg Indian Market and Festival on June 27 and June 28 (both days), as well as the Juneteenth Community Celebration on June 20, and the July 3 Saloon Night event. These are primarily outdoor events.
