To strengthen our finance team in Muscat, we are seeking a detail-oriented Grants Finance Officer to oversee financial management of grants and donor-funded programs.

Role Overview

The Grants Finance Officer will be responsible for managing financial processes related to grants, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and supporting program teams with accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial operations for grants and donor-funded projects.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports in line with donor requirements.
  • Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with organizational and donor policies.
  • Collaborate with program managers to align financial planning with project goals.
  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation to donors and regulators.
  • Maintain accurate records of grant transactions and allocations.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide financial guidance to program teams to ensure effective grant utilization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in grant finance, donor compliance, or nonprofit accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and donor regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Pay: Up to RO1,400.000 per month
