We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic & Creative Designer who can bring ideas to life and communicate key messages through thoughtful, engaging design.

Position Overview:

As a Graphic and Creative Designer at Fear Free, LLC, you will support a wide range of creative projects, producing engaging visual content for both print and digital platforms. This includes creating and updating materials for Fear Free’s current and prospective members, strategic collaborators, and internal stakeholders. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll ensure all designs align with Fear Free’s brand standards and organizational goals. Whether developing assets for social media, websites, brochures, or educational resources, your work will help deliver Fear Free’s mission through compelling, consistent design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Conceptualization: Produce high-quality, visually engaging designs that meet project objectives and deadlines across web, social, print, presentation, and promotional materials.
  • Software Proficiency and Production: Use professional design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), Canva, and others, to create and prepare files for print and digital use. Ensure all assets are correctly formatted, optimized, and tested across platforms to meet technical and production specifications.
  • Team Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Education, Facility Success, Member Services, Marketing, and Growth teams to develop cohesive, high-impact creative assets that bring departmental initiatives to life and advance organizational goals.
  • Creative Strategy & Impact: Support the development of visual concepts and materials that strengthen member engagement, elevate the Fear Free brand, and align with marketing and education goals.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain a 100% adherence rate to Fear Free's brand guidelines across all platforms and materials, with quarterly reviews to ensure consistency and alignment with evolving brand strategies.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects concurrently, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to scope and budget, and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Creative Execution: Develop original, high-quality designs using industry-standard software, thoughtfully combining color, typography, imagery, and layout to tell a compelling visual story. Apply accessibility and inclusivity best practices to create materials that are engaging, welcoming, and reflective of diverse audiences.
  • Quality Control: Maintain strict adherence to Fear Free’s brand guidelines across all materials and channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with evolving brand standards.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay current with emerging design trends and tools to keep Fear Free’s creative materials fresh, modern, and engaging.
  • Content Management: Support content creation and design implementation through content management systems (CMS), ensuring smooth design integration on web and digital platforms.
  • Database & File Management: Organize and maintain digital asset libraries across Dropbox, Monday, and Canva, including designs, photography, and videos, to ensure proper version control, easy access, and reuse across projects.

Key Objectives:

  • Deliver accurate, high-quality creative materials on or before deadlines, ensuring alignment with business objectives, marketing strategies, and sales goals while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Marketing Team and stakeholders to achieve 95% on-time project completion, ensuring budget and scope adherence, with weekly progress reporting to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate effective cross-departmental collaboration by consistently delivering creative assets that meet project goals, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and implement at least one process improvement per quarter to enhance the efficiency of design workflows and the quality of visual content.
  • Maintain consistency in the design of digital and print materials while adapting designs to suit different audiences and platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional creativity with a passion for innovative and engaging design.
  • At least 5 years of experience in graphic design, including professional experience and formal education in design or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Express, Premiere Pro), Canva, and other relevant tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the Monday.com project management platform.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take feedback and iterate designs quickly.
  • A desire for continued growth and skill development in graphic design.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Must have a stable, high-speed internet connection capable of handling video conferencing and cloud-based tools.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience creating visual assets across multiple platforms, preferably within a marketing, communications, or creative setting.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience demonstrating strong design skills and creativity will also be considered.
  • Experience with WordPress and content management systems (CMS).
  • Ability to select and enhance imagery that aligns with brand storytelling and visual standards
  • Previous experience in the animal health industry is preferred but not required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To:

  • Remain in a stationary position for an extended period while operating a computer.
  • Move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Participate in virtual and/or in-person meetings.
  • Travel by car and /or airplane
