Graphic Artist

Position Summary:

Identity Group delivers sign and visual décor projects to major hospitality and custom brand clients nationwide. The Graphic Artist plays a critical role in this process, preparing production-ready files using industry-standard graphics software.

Essential Functions:

· Reads and interprets work orders and technical drawings.

· Develops accurate sign specification sheets detailing dimensions, materials, colors, and mounting instructions for vendors and production facilities.

· Performs Pre-flight and Production Art Creation for both Print and Fabrication Sign Manufacturing.

· Utilizes Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flexi.

· Creates and manipulates of evacuation art in accordance with applicable code compliance requirements.

· Archives customer source files in accordance with Identity Group file structure.

· Utilizes customer supplied artwork to create production art files.

· Develops and maintains brand standard drawings and templates.

· Communicates effectively both internally and externally through verbal and written communication.

· Performs work in accordance with Company and national safety standards.

· Maintains reliable, consistent on-site attendance at the Cookeville Campus.

· Maintains confidentiality of Company information.

· Complies with all Identity Group policies and procedures.

· Performs other job functions as assigned by Manager or designee.

Requirements:

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors prior to production.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet customer and production deadlines.

· Ability to interpret and execute work from client-supplied artwork, brand standards, and technical specifications.

· Familiarity with ADA accessibility standards, incorporating best practices into design and production workflows.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Working knowledge of common sign substrates and print materials, or ability to develop proficiency.

· Must be able to read and understand process instructions and work orders.

Physical Requirements:

· Regularly must be able to sit, talk, see and hear and occasionally walk and stand.

· Sedentary work; frequently may lift up to 10 pounds.

· Must occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, grasp, and frequently use fingers for keying.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· 1 – 3 years’ experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop in a printing or sign manufacturing environment.

· Experience with Flexi sign software is preferred.

· Familiarity with large-format print production workflows is preferred.

· Experience with RIP software or color management tools is preferred.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
