Graphic Artist and Printing Prepress Specialist - Exp Required

Our team is tight-knit, experienced and takes pride in their work, and we’re looking for a Graphic Artist Print Prepress Specialist to join.

JOB SUMMARY

A detailed Print Prepress Specialist. Managing File Preparation, Typesetting and Layout using our Adobe Creative Suite software, Inposition Software, Enfocus Pit Stop. Creating / sending proofs to customers and communicating directly with clients about specs, approvals and job status. Attention to detail and communication are critical coordinate with our production team to make sure every job is done to spec.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preflight, prepare, and process customer files using Adobe Creative Suite — Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat Pro
• Typesetting and layout adjustments for files that need corrections and reformatting
• Use Enfocus PitStop for advanced preflight and PDF correction
• Send proofs to clients; track approvals and communicate revisions
• Provide clients with technical guidance on file setup, color profiles, bleeds, resolution and press specs
• Correspond with clients via phone and email on job status, questions and issues

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years prepress experience in commercial printing Prepress and File Design
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Enfocus PitStop. Experience with preparing files to print in a Sheet Fed Environment, Digital Equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS

Starting Salary $52,000 +

Paid Time Off, Vacation, Paid Holidays, 401K with Employer Match

Full Time In Person Position, Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 4:30

References are Required
