Job Summary:
The Graphic Artist – Creative Services Lead will be responsible for applying corporate marketing and branding strategies in various facets of graphic and creative content. This includes Proprietary branded products and marketing materials, websites, corporate materials and other external content that represents Omni such as tradeshows. Will work with sales and external customers to help create and maintain Private Label supplied products by creating product labels, associated packaging materials and necessary marketing materials.
Job Duties:
- Primary graphics leader to implement and support corporate marketing goals
- Work with various internal departments to support their needs as it pertains to any marketing or branding materials
- Lead all trade show visuals including booths, banners, signage and any other print or digital marketing materials. Ensures all graphics align with brand guidelines and messaging
- Coordination of shipping products and marketing materials to support tradeshows, including arranging travel if necessary. This would include scheduling any vendor provided services such as booth supplies, electrical, etc
- Work with sales and marketing to define show objectives and make sure all aspects of tradeshow support align with corporate and customer needs
- Works with customers in designing new labels, cartons and other materials
- Designs items within the parameters of our suppliers’ capabilities
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
- Coordinates finished product with suppliers so internal purchasing department can process product
- Knowledge of pre-press preparation, print processes, and vendor coordination.
- Works with other internal departments for approval and implementation of new products or changes to existing products
- Learns and maintains technical knowledge by internal technical training methods
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Expertise in packaging design, color theory, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Knowledge of pre-press preparation, print processes, and vendor coordination
- Strong understanding of regulatory artwork requirements (SDS alignment, hazard icons, product specs
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and consistency
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to partner effectively with multiple departments
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Creative problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 4–7 years of professional graphic design experience required
- 1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, or consumer product packaging strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally (samples, printed materials, etc.).
- Must have visual acuity for detailed artwork review and color accuracy.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
