Summary:
Island Creek is seeking a Junior Graphic Artist to work with the PMA-275 Fast Response Group (FRG) to design and develop graphic/visual effects used in training material.
This position requires the use of specialized computer software to develop high quality computer illustrations, technical drawings, and animations supporting various media used within the concurrency management materials. The Graphic Designer is capable of using specialized hardware and/or software for video/audio capture and editing of multimedia presentations, incorporates principles of layout design throughout the concurrency management materials production and update process, and is responsible for quality control, review and revision of all aspects of graphics development.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Required Experience:
At least two (2) years of experience performing the functional duties as described above.
Required Education:
BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
OR Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel:
Limited CONUS travel is expected for this position.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the Secret Level. Ideal candidates will currently possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance; however, candidates with US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance will be considered. Must be able to receive a Government Common Access Card (CAD), access Government systems, and receive a security clearance.
