We are seeking a creative and strategic Graphic Design and Marketing professional to join our Agent Support Marketing and Enablement team. Bring your savvy design skills to our in-house team and support the timeless legacy of an Idaho institution, United Heritage.


Job Summary

This role combines visual design expertise with content strategy to develop compelling, empathetic communications that resonate with our target audiences. This position will produce and maintain sales assets and tools that support ongoing learning and development programs. The ideal candidate will understand the unique sensitivities of the life insurance and financial services sector while creating engaging materials that build trust and drive customer engagement.


Primary Responsibilities

Visual Design & Creative Development

  • Design marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital advertisements
  • Support organizational operations by creating and amending forms, publications, brochures, and other industry documents
  • Create compelling visual content for websites, landing pages, and email campaigns
  • Develop infographics and educational materials that simplify complex insurance concepts
  • Design presentation templates and sales support materials for field representatives
  • Ensure all visual materials comply with insurance industry regulations, advertising, and company brand standards
  • Maintain and evolve the visual brand identity across all touchpoints
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and customer acquisition goals
  • Create integrated marketing plans spanning digital, print, direct mail, and social media channels
  • Research and analyze target market segments to inform messaging, positioning, and campaign development
  • Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and customer service teams to identify marketing opportunities and pain points
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategic marketing decisions
  • Establish brand messaging frameworks, marketing guidelines, and campaign performance benchmarks
  • Support enablement across the entire entity by meeting design needs

Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Create social media content strategies that build community and trust
  • Design graphics for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant social platforms
  • Develop email marketing templates and campaign graphics
  • Optimize visual content for various digital channels and device formats

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design and content marketing, preferably in financial services or insurance industry
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns and content strategies
  • Portfolio demonstrating expertise in both print and digital design

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) with a high emphasis on InDesign
  • Experience with content management systems and email marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Understanding of SEO principles and content optimization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in life insurance, preneed, or funeral services industry
  • Experience with video production and motion graphics

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office environment, where employees may sit for extended periods; Visual acuity to perform reading and computer functions.
