The Asian Liver Center (ALC) at Stanford University is the first U.S. non-profit addressing the high prevalence of hepatitis B and liver cancer in Asian and Asian American communities. Founded in 1996, ALC fights hepatitis B through CARE: Collaboration, Advocacy, Research, and Education/Outreach.
Internship Details:
- Dates: Jun 8th, 2026 – August 14th, 2026
- Up to 10 hours/week during business hours (M-F, 9 AM–5:30 PM) at our Palo Alto office
- Performance-based stipend up to $2,000 upon completion
- 1-hour weekly intern meeting (schedule mutually agreed)
- Participation required for designated outreach events
Responsibilities:
- Design promotional materials: branding, brochures, presentations, infographics, ads, websites, email marketing
- Create online animations and social media graphics for campaigns
- Collaborate with Youth Leadership Interns and staff for the YLC conference
- Update and maintain marketing materials, organize files, and support vendors
- Communicate effectively, receive feedback, and assist in executing campaigns
- Ensure detail-oriented proofing of all deliverables
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a BA in Graphic Design or related program
- Eligible to work in the USA
- Portfolio recommended
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere)
- Understanding of layout, typography, and color
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and take direction
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn
- Light to moderate web design skills
