Graphic Design Intern

ReflexGroup has an opening for a Graphic Design Intern to join our New York office and work with some of the world's top luxury and beauty brands. The intern will work on projects ranging from photoshoots, events, pop-ups, branding identities, web design, and many others. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a solid foundation and understanding of graphic design principles, and the ability to conceptualize and render ideas quickly with effective communication and storytelling.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Team player with a positive attitude
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects), and Google Suite
• Photo retouching skills are a must
• Knowledge of Photography, 3D, LLMs and Generative AI, and/or Motion
• Ability to prioritize (quickly and efficiently) with tight deadlines and follow through

RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Assist in creating visually appealing designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools that adapt to and reflect various aesthetics and brand identities
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop branding materials and promotional graphics
• Execute photo manipulation and editing tasks, ensuring high-quality imagery
• Support the production of digital and print media, adhering to color management and typography standards
• Contribute to design brainstorming sessions and present ideas effectively to the team
• Stay updated on design trends and tools to enhance skills and project outcomes

• Access to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for the duration of your internship
• We operate on a hybrid schedule with Mondays and Fridays working remotely from home, and Tuesdays through Thursdays in the office
• Please keep in mind that our design team is small, so applicants should be willing to multitask on various projects of different scales. In turn, you will be asked to work independently on certain projects with the overview of the Art Director.
• The internship begins as soon as the intern is available, preferably before end of April.
• There is a potential for hire after the internship is complete
• Based on applicants qualifications a stipend of $1500 can be set as part of their package
