Graphic Design Intern: Summer 2026

At SunSpin Media we are a team of creatives located in Buffalo, NY dedicated to providing our clients quality, efficiency and creativity. Including services such as graphic design, printing, social media marketing, video, and photo.

We are seeking a graphic design intern to join our team for this summer and get involved in our daily tasks. You will receive direct experience in an office setting, collaborating with other creative individuals and hands-on print production. See below further details about the role and skills which we are seeking.

About the role:

· Develop designs for a variety of clients, including medical practices, editorials, restaurants, realtors, nonprofit corporations and more.

· Work individually as well as collaboratively on team projects.

· Create marketing focused graphics for both print and digital use.

· Gain experience working within a print room and taking projects from start to finish. Including, but not limited to printing business cards, brochures and flyers. (design to print)

· Obtain working knowledge and apply said knowledge to adhering to branding and

Our Ideal Candidate(s):

· Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or equivalent.

· Ability to work alongside team members with different skill sets.

· Ability to manage time and handle multiple projects at once.

· An adequate understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)

· A willingness to learn new tools or skills.

· A positive attitude and openness to constructive criticism.

· Ability to think outside of the box.

· knowledge of Windows OS or willingness to learn.

Bonus Skills:

· Understanding of copyright in design

· Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere & AfterEffects)

· Experience with photo and video editing.

· Experience with creating graphics or content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.

· General understanding of web design HTML, CSS or experience with platforms such as Wix and/or Wordpress.

· Printing experience or creating designs which were formatted for print.

Candidates must be able to reliably commute to and from the office and arrive on time for their scheduled shifts.

A flexible schedule is available to accommodate the candidate’s availability, provided working hours fall within our business hours of 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

This internship may be completed for school credit through participating colleges and universities, or for professional experience. Interns are expected to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week. A $350 stipend will be provided upon successful completion of the internship.

Pay: $350.00 per year
