About the Job

We are looking for a Graphic Design Sign Maker and Printer Operator to join our team in a busy print and manufacturing shop. This is a unique, hands-on position where you will be involved in both designing and producing signs and products.

This is not a remote job. You will be working on-site in our shop, creating designs and helping bring them to life through printing, cutting, and assembly. If you enjoy working with your hands, seeing your designs become real products, and being part of a fast-paced team, this could be a great fit.

Important — This Is a Hands-On Job

This role combines graphic design and sign making.
You will not just sit at a desk — you will also be involved in the production process and working with commercial printer equipment and materials.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating, vectorizing and preparing artwork for commercial signs, decals, magnets, and custom products
• Creating cut files for CNC and processing files through the use of CAD
• Setting up jigs and files for printing, CNC cutting, and laser cutting
• Operating Mimaki commercial printers and ensuring print quality
• Making signs and assembling finished products
• Installing hardware on signs when needed
• Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines
• Helping troubleshoot design or print issues
• Keeping files and work areas organized

What We're Looking For

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator (required)
• Attention to detail — designs must print correctly
• Comfortable working with computers and production equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and dependable
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Must be willing to work on-site — this is not a remote role
• Must be open to using AI as part of the workflow

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Experience:

• processing cut files with the use of CAD: 1 year (Required)
• Mimaki or equivalent UV printer operation and maintenance: 1 year (Required)
