Graphic Design Production Artist

As a Graphic Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create computer generated vinyl and/or full color graphics output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate. You will work closely with fellow team members to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the final product.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction according to instructions of client or supervisor.
Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer.
Performs customer logo maintenance and sourcing.
Creates proofs and sends to customers using the online proofing system.
Works on different projects simultaneously.
Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments
Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes
Handles print functions on roll to roll and/or flatbed
Assist with production when needed

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous sign or print industry experience a plus
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Other software a plus: Photoshop, FlexiSign, RasterLink, EngraveLab, Enroute, & Corel
Experience in the following equipment is a plus: UV & Latex Roll to Roll printers, Flatbed printers, Laser and Rotary Engravers and routers.
Additional experience in this technology is a plus: ink layering with roll to roll or flatbed, specialty print film types used for high end print/display projects

Pay: $38,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
