Graphic Design Program & Internship

Would you like a great digital job? Do you need to enhance your work readiness? Would you like valuable digital training? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we invite you to launch your career with the Flexible Upskilling Network (F.U.N) program.

About the F.U.N Program

The F.U.N. program is funded by the Government of Canada - Youth Employment Skills Strategy and is a blended learning program designed by Prepr to support youth who face employment barriers by giving them highly desirable skills, including employability skills, digital skills, generative AI, as well as Prepr’s signature PIE method (project leadership, innovation & entrepreneurship) for interdisciplinary problem-solving.

What makes the F.U.N program even better is that you will be matched with a potential employer in Ontario at the end of your training, and have the opportunity to complete an 8 week paid work placement.

Job description

We are looking for youth with an interest in or experience with graphic design, e-commerce, or digital marketing. You may work with others including marketing and technology team members. If offered a placement, you may be responsible for:

  • Creating logos, social media graphics, and marketing materials
  • Designing digital assets for websites, newsletters, and e-commerce platforms
  • Supporting brand guidelines and visual consistency across campaigns
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to bring concepts to life
  • Producing layouts for reports, presentations, or promotional materials
  • Experimenting with AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency

This is a unique opportunity to put your skills into practice and gain real-world graphic design experience.

Here's what a past program graduate had to say about her experience:

The program has helped me focus on what I want to do after this. I’ve decided that I want to combine my dev experience with UX. Before I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my career. Now I know. The program has given all of the professional tools that I need to prepare myself for the real world.

The instructors, speakers and mentors were all very knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive… I enjoyed learning from all of their stories. It was very encouraging and motivating to say the least.

-Maria, CollieQ Team
