Graphic Design/Art/Brand help for Small Biz Making Electronic Musical Instruments

Hey, we're a couple people here in Charlottesville making educational electronic kits and electronic musical instruments. We have a workshop downtown where we assemble everything.

I (David, the owner) spend a lot of time designing circuits but I also spend a lot of time designing instructions/packaging/web pages/other marketing things. I like to do visual design but as the company grows I'll need to start handing that off to someone else. Maybe that person is you? Right now I only need a few hours of help here and there, but thought I'd put out this listing and see if I find someone who understands what we're doing here.

What we're lookng for:

• Someone who can understand our brand and help add to it over time, on a contract basis.
• Local or semi-local to Cville. Would be great to be able to collaborate in person sometimes so that we're on the same page and so that you understand what our products are all about.
• We use Affinity and daVinci Resolve. If you're familiar with the Adobe suite, it should only take a few hours to pick up.
• We need help on a lot of small and medium things that pop up here and there... making lesson plans, emails, improving the website, putting together packaging design.
• Surprise me! We're a small growing brand so there's a lot of directions we could take.

We are *not* looking for a sales person or a marketing guru. Just a local designer or artist who we can call on when we could use help on a project. For example, we're going to make lesson plans for our new product, and could use your help formatting and designing. And later this year we will design the packaging for the product. I'll make the first draft but would love to see what someone with more skill could create.
