Graphic Designer

FireBoard Labs, a Kansas City technology and electronics manufacturing company, is hiring a Graphic Designer to handle various creative initiatives across our product line. This position will be hands on and directly contributing to the production of creative assets as they pertain to our marketing strategy. Graphic design responsibilities will span both print and digital. These assets will be used across our eCommerce website (FireBoard.com), multiple social channels and various printed materials.

FireBoard Labs is headquartered in Kansas City and is an industry leader in cloud connected temperature monitoring and control. Our headquarters in downtown Kansas City also supports our in-house electronics manufacturing capabilities and provides a showcase for domestic manufacturing. Beyond just graphic design, this position may also include photography and video work to the extent time allows.

We are looking for motivated and tech-savvy marketing leaders!

The desired skill set includes some or all of the following:

· Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (emphasis on Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop)

· Creative thinking

· Motivated self starter who can complete design jobs efficiently

· Proven graphic design experience with understanding of core design fundamentals

· Ability to communicate effectively with other marketing team members and senior management

· Experience managing outside vendors for marketing collateral (print, swag, etc)

Bonus Qualifications:

· Photography / Adobe Photoshop

· Videography / Editing / Adobe Premier

· Trade show planning and/or exhibiting

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent required.
