Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly websites. This role involves collaborating with designers and other developers to build, maintain, and enhance WordPress sites while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

We are seeking Wordpress Developers that are available during normal working hours Central Stand Time zone. Secure Computer workstation with broadband is required. Please, no phone calls.

Duties

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high-performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create engaging user flows and wireframes.
• Write clean, maintainable code in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Manage databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git or SVN for code management.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure functionality across platforms.
• Optimize websites for SEO and performance using best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills.
• Participate in Agile development processes using tools like Jira or Trello.

Requirements

• Proficiency in WordPress development with a strong understanding of themes and plugins.
• Experience with front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SCSS, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
• Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of web services including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of system architecture principles and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and e-commerce solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively. Preferred skills include experience with frameworks such as Angular or React, familiarity with content management systems like Drupal, knowledge of data visualization techniques, and proficiency in software development methodologies including SDLC. Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is also a plus.
