Graphic Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in graphic design and a passion for visual storytelling. This role requires proficiency in various design software and an understanding of branding, marketing, and digital art. As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with our sales team to create compelling visuals that align with our brand identity and engage our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ad Creation & Design
• Digital Content & Social Media
• Subscription Management
• Editorial & Fashion Shoot Support

Design and proof advertisements for each issue.

Collaborate with sales representatives to create visuals that align with client branding and expectations.

Maintain and update the BayouLife Magazine website.

Plan and post social media content across platforms to enhance engagement and audience reach.

Maintain and update subscriber lists.

Send renewal reminders and handle the mailing of magazines, including delivery to the post office.

Assist during monthly shoots by organizing fashion and product items.

Keep track of item descriptions and ensure all borrowed items are maintained and returned in proper condition.

Provide general support to the editorial and production teams as needed throughout the monthly publication process.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) is essential.
• Strong skills in branding, digital art creation, illustration, layout design, typography, and typesetting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.

Projected Total Compensation: Up to $40,000.00 per year
