Summary :


Throughout the Boston Celtics’ storied history, they have long stood for equality and respect, including drafting the first African American player, hiring the first African American coach, and playing the first all-black starting five. The Celtics have won a record 18 NBA Championships spanning five (5) decades, including eight (8) in a row from 1959-1966, and winning their most recent in 2024. In addition, forty-two (42) former Celtics players, management, coaches, or staff have been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Responsibilities :


  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects while delivering outstanding content to various departments across the organization
  • Assist in development of key tentpole initiatives alongside of Sr. Designer- including development of campaign visual direction and execution of social-ready assets
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure designs meet organizational standards and overall brand expectations
  • Ability to brainstorm new and unique ways to engage with Celtics fans and drive business revenue via various digital channels
  • Keen eye on external trends in the sports industry with an ability to take an idea from concept to a finished product


Qualifications :


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a graphic design and/or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years of meaningful work experience
  • Strong design portfolio, online accessibility preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects
  • Motion graphics experience a plus
  • Ability to navigate tight deadlines without compromising quality of work
  • Proficient communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
