Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer plays a vital role in the sign production business, as it is bringing a client’s vision to life, while ensuring production ready files that can be manufactured. This position requires the ability to understand what clients are looking for and making comparable design suggestions to enhance their sign or graphics. You will collaborate closely with sales, project managers, and production to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive design requests and translate them into creative concepts and mockups.

· Revise artwork based on feedback from clients and internal team.

· Maintain and organize file archies, templates and material files.

· Produce scalable artwork in appropriate software for signs, wraps, banners, decals and vehicle graphics.

· Prepare production-ready files including bleeds, formats, colors, etc.

· Use internal system to identify correct materials being used for callouts on designs.

· Assist in proofs, mock-ups, and samples and perform quality assurance checks on output colors, scale, registration, etc.

· Work efficiently to meet aggressive deadlines and turnaround times.

· Stay current with materials, vinyl types, paints, printing technologies and design trends.

Qualifications:

· Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.

· At least 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, ideally in signage, large-format printing, vehicle wrap design, or related visual media.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating work in such fields.

· Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with other sign-industry software (plotter/cutter or RIP softwares, etc.)

· Understanding color theory, typography, layout, scale, and design

· Attention to detail, ability to ensure artwork in print-ready without errors.

· Good time management and multi-tasking skills.

This position has a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with an expectation of 40 hours per week. There is an hourly rate of $19-$23 per hour, depending upon experience. Benefits are available after 60 days of employment, which include holiday pay, sick and vacation pay, health insurance and a 401k retirement plan.
