Joe Mineo Creative is a nationally recognized and award-winning event design company. With every corporate event, wedding, and private party we create, plan, or manage, our team provides clients with a unique design, exceptional service, and a sophisticated presentation.

The Graphic Designer plays a key role in bringing event concepts to life - translating ideas from sketch to screen to print. This position requires a creative thinker with a keen eye for aesthetics, detail, and storytelling. The ideal candidate will design custom graphics that elevate each event’s design while collaborating closely with our event designers and production team to ensure a cohesive, high-end visual experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with event designers to create custom renderings of idea and concepts imagined by the JMC designers. Renderings can range from large scale room transportations, oversized displays, logo designs, personalized menus for each guest, invitation designs, and custom signage, etc.
  • Assist Event Producers in providing updated renderings, storyboards, and additional materials needed for client presentations.
  • Work in conjugation with Event Designers, Event Producers, and Art Department to stay on-task and up-to-date with active changes to event designs and due dates for printed materials.
  • Maintain working relationships with established printing companies to provide renderings and designs on-time in order to receive materials for accurate due dates.
  • Manage all print material deadlines.
  • Graphic Designer may need to be on-site for installation of large scale/ heavy graphic design events.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or related field
  • Creates print-ready files for large-scale builds, understanding how to best layout designs on materials like coroplast and foam core to minimize cuts and simplify assembly.
  • A portfolio of work exhibiting strong aesthetic and design skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong typographic skills
  • Ability to design consistent event branding
  • Ability to create print ready artwork on short deadlines
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of design styles and trends
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills/techniques
  • Experience using AI to create & elevate graphic renderings
