Graphic Designer

InCITE [https://www.facebook.com/InCITEBangalore] is a platform co-founded by the principals of InFORM Architects for the documentation and dissemination of emerging architecture in Contemporary India through exhibition, publication and events. A small in-house full-time team is engaged in achieving the multiple objectives of the organization.

We are looking for a Designer for the InCITE Creative Team with the following profile

Architecture design background

• Proficient in CAD (AutoCAD) and graphic layout software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). SketchUp, Revit etc. will be considered an added qualification
• Exceptional creative skills
• Refined aesthetic sensibility
• Hardworking, dedicated and willing to a min. 1.5-2 years commitment
• Fluent oral and written communication
• Writing skills will be an added qualification
• Passion for design
• Taking initiative and increasing levels of responsibility

Job Description:

Architect designer for creative team handling architecture publications and events.

The position would involve working on InCITE’s events and calls for graphics skills, creativity and aesthetic sensibility in various media of re-presentation of architecture (not restricted to building alone).

Graphic work for publications would include layout design for books, cover design, logo design and design of promotional collateral such as fliers and posters.

Graphic design for events would include design of invitations and other promotional collateral.

The position also involves layout designing for exhibitions, managing InCITE’s Facebook page, communication and coordination via email, phone or in person, organization and management of digital files and book stocks and maintaining a comprehensive database. Candidate will be required to prepare budgetary estimates, reports, press releases, grant proposals and presentations

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
