Graphic Designer

We are a small company in Auburn Hills, looking for a graphic designer to create ideas and catalogs twice a year, develop weekly emails, work closely with social manager to design and post social media, packaging designs, signs, managing the website and more. It's an amazing group of women, designing handbags for wholesale and retail customers. We are looking for full time, Monday-Friday, in person, in Auburn Hills. Being a small company, this position will have multiple responsibilities including designing sales promotions and weekly emails, preparing and managing social media posts, photography, and website maintenance. The position offers experience building knowledge in many areas and great exposure to national media platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities

• Create spring and fall catalog
• Design and implement weekly emails
• Manage the Shopify website
• Create banners, signs, postcards, and other print collateral
• Organize dropbox folders and photographs
• Self motivated, responsible for timely execution of tasks
• Responsible for printer ready artwork, appropriate bleeds and margins
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends

Qualifications Graphics Design degree or equivalent

• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Portfolio of work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
